CBIR is one of the most active hot points in the current research fields such as the computer vision, the image database and the knowledge mining and so on.In this paper, a lot research work based on the status quo and development trend of CBIR field has been done around the key technologies and methods in this field. And a detailed analysis and system implementation around the basis of CBIR viz the abstract method of feature of images has been made. Aiming at special image database we designed a CBIR system base on relevance feedback as the test bed for the works below:Punctilious research on the application of Fuzzy Theory in CBIR field; A new method using combined color fuzzy spectrum and texture fuzzy spectrum along with its similarity metric algorithm is proposed, and we made a study of experimental results. Some research on indexing schemes in image database has been done and we import an advanced fuzzy indexing schemes in our test system.In addition, relevance feedback techology in CBIR system has also been researched, we develop a model of relevance feedback and design a system framework. Experimental results indicate that the algorithm balance the efficiencies and performances of the retrieval system, and the efficiency and retrieval accuracy has been improved in a great measure, and got better results.
