Research And Implementation Of Collaborative And Visualization Digital Office System

Nowadays, collaborative and visualization multimedia digital office system is one of the hot topics in the field of multimedia digital office. It is an important application of multimedia communication and virtual environment in multimedia digital office system. It is a cross-disciplinary research project, involving with computer graphics, digital image processing, multimedia coding, multimedia transmission and communication. In recent years, multimedia digital office system has been playing a more and more important role in long-distance education, commerce communion and conference, corporation client service and product development, long-distance medical treatment and consultation, multinational corporation communion and so on.This paper aims to have a deeply study into several key techniques about virtual environment and multimedia digital office system. At first, some relevant protocols and methods of the multimedia conference system are studied, then a multipoint conference system is designed and implemented based on protocol stack. It realizes the multi-channel transmission and live display in synchronism of the video and the audio with the file transfer, information share and electronic whiteboard being available. Secondly, based on a study of virtual environment and virtual reality, a three- dimension virtual conference scene is constructed, which ensures the attendance of more lively and actual conference effects. In the three-dimensional virtual conference scene, the use of multi-texture and triangle slice fleet arithmetic guarantees the real-time alternation display. Then by combining the multimedia conference and the virtual scene, the multimedia flow can be transitted and processed, and finally the three-dimensional visualization of the multimedia conference is realized. Hereby, a collaborative visualization multimedia digital office system is accomplished. The analysis and test results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the designed and developed multimedia digital office system.
