| Application of predistortion technology in CDMA2000 system is discussed in this paper. And a practical digital predistortion system is proposed to improve linearity and efficiency of power amplifier.This paper simulates the effects of nonlinearity on downlink signals in CDMA2000 system, which based on analysis of power amplifier's nonlinearity characteristic. And several popular linearity technologies are introduced. Then predistortion technology is detailed, and several practical predistortion schemes at present are analyzed. A predistortion system based on PMC scheme is designed according to practice and in terms of CDMA2000 system. Moreover the hardware is realized and config software is designed. At last, performance is tested on hardware of designed predistortion system in CDMA 2000 system downlink, which proves that designed predistortion system increase linearity and efficiency of power amplifier to a great extent.More advanced research will be studied later to further improve power amplifier efficiency and eliminate unequal two sides. |
