Seams are the main electromagnetic leaking ways of electronic equipments. In order to predict the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronic equipments exactly, Seams must be modeled mathematically and physically. Since the complex of seam structure, Seams can not be modeled in the EMC simulation software. The thesis presents an equivalent modeling method of transfer impedance. Seams can be modeled in the EMC simulation software by this method. First, the thesis introduces the basic theories of shielding and discusses the particularities of seams. On the basis of research on the development of seams simulation, presents the equivalent modeling method of transfer impedance. Using this method, the EMC simulation model of seams can be created exactly. Second, introduces the basic theory of the transfer impedance method. Third, gives the definition of this equivalent modeling method of transfer impedance. At the same time, provides the rules of choosing model size and material attribute. Finally, proves the validity of this method.
