| With the rapid development of computer technology and wide use of network technology, The Information System have been changed dramatically in the fields of scope, framework, function hierarchical and design realization and so on. It is very difficult to develop an integrative MIS with properties of validity,transportability and correctness using the different hardware environment, OS and communication platform,. Software component technology gives an effective solution for these problems. Applying software component structure as composition framework, the develop model based on software reuse supports composition-based software reuse. The model becomes one of the main technologies for new type MIS.Based on the development of the project "Passport and Visa Information System", the design model of based on software component to develop MIS is discussed in this paper. Some kinds of technologies such as software component, Object-Oriented technology, .Net technology, multi-tiered architectures, are also described in detail. On the basis of the software component design model, we develop a Passport and Visa Management Information System that is used by foreign affairs department of minister of communication. This system is comprised of foreign mission management, personnel management, passport management, visa management, and statistics and report designing. This paper discussed the integration and apply the fruits of 863 task "the research of software support system based on broad wide band communication", especially, this paper apply the production of public components warehouse and provide the apply environment for 863 research fruit transform to production.The Passport and Visa Information System can be easily integrated, modified and maintained by using software components techniques. By now, the performance of this system is favorable. Being as an important part of the Minister of Communication information and e-government infrastructure, the application of system can improve the efficiency of work and governmental image. |
