Research On Security Of Database System Based On PKI

With the rapid development and pervasive application of computer and network technology, information security now has been the focus of information community. How to assure and enhance the security of database, the core of data's storage and management in management information system, has been hot topic which is expected to be solved urgently.The information-based construction of our army needs a well-found, secure and reliable information system .The technique of database encryption can resolve the local security of data, and the public key infrastructure (PKI) will provide the function of authentication, confidentiality, integrity and non-repudiation; which guarantees the security of information delivery.The techniques of cryptography and digital signature, the concept, function and constitution of PKI was first introduced in this paper, and the digital signature and role authentication were summarized in detail, the significance of data base security and architecture of security are analyzed, the basic requirement of database security and implementation issues are proposed in detail, the objective of implementing data base security is indicated ; Then, the present status and existed problem about security of database system in our army were deeply analyze; Finally, combing PKI with databases encryption techniques together, we proposed the project of storage and transmission with encryption and digital signature for database, which well guaranteed the integrity and consistencies of the data and solved the problem of confidentiality, reliability and non-repudiation, thus improved security performance of information system in our army.This thesis considers the security of the database in the information building, and table a proposal the project of databases encryption, for have some idea of information system in our army.
