Cooperating with our industrial partner, Wenzhou Cosimon Hechuang informationtechnology Ltd in China, we have introduced a novel vision measuring system for checkingquality of a large amount of PS plates. We used such a system to detect the possible defects of theplates instead of with our eyes which is a conventional way in workshops in China at present. It isa combination of ccd splicing technology , data storage, PCI-interface high-speed image collectingtechnology and controlling technology. Finally, we divided the plates into different classesaccording to the information we got with our system and the quality standards of PS plates.The main tasks of this thesis are listed as follows:1. We designed a vision measuring system comprised of multi-ccds chip, static memoriesand PCI-interface imagine processing card.2. Designed precise and flexible mechanics.3. Contrived TCD1251 drivers employing FPGA(field programmable logic gate array).4. Introduced the method of using digital resistors to tune the comparable thresholds for dataprocessing.Developed the applicable software for the measuring system.
