A testing system for hydraulic pressure moving tube displacement sensor used in airplane vertical empennage is designed in this paper. The testing system is based on Virtual Instrument technology, which has been one of most popular technology used into measurement field. The testing system for displacement sensor is designed with LabVIEW, combining with advantage of the computer hardware and software.Based on the study of the principle of the displacement sensor, the displacement is measured with optical grating ruler at the same time. The precise and stable hardware testing platform is composed of sensor signal regulating circuit, optical grating ruler sense finding and subdivision circuit. The well functioning and simple operation measuring software is created with LabVIEW. According to items of testing outline, real-time testing of displacement sensor is done. The data acquisition and storage, data analysis and processing, result display and testing report generation can be achieved on time.The errors are analyzed with the mathematic analytic model of LabVIEW at the time domain and frequency domain. The source of dynamic errors is traced and the corresponding solutions are proposed. The dynamic errors are corrected, so the precision of test is improved.
