| USB MASS STORAGE protocol based mobile storage technology is widely used nowadays, it meets the growing requirements of bulk data transportation.Embedded system wins population around the industry society. Beside the knowledge of hardware and software, the embedded system developers should also be an expert in special application domain. The chips with ARM core and LINUX operation system presented in this paper are the main embedded development, platforms.This paper involves the theory and implementation of the project "Digital Mate" which includes several parts. Firstly, the hardware design and the LINUX driver of IDE interface in S3C2410; secondly, the implementation of USB HOST and SLAVE bus driver in SX2410, which refers to the USB protocol; thirdly, the USB MASS STORAGE protocol implementation in LINUX. The core software was mainly designed by the author. |
