The Existing Condition Of The Supervision By Internet

The supervision by public opinion in our country is the supervision by media formally, but essentially is the extension or supplement of the Party's and government's power . As the Internet develops rapidly ,the supervision by Internet exerts increasingly great impact on people' s political life and other media.But it's also the breeding ground of rumors and extreme opinions that will cause destruction. The issue of Internet governance has received much attention. This article focuses on some basic characteristics of the supervision by Internet and the challenges these characteristics pose to Internet regulation. This paper breaks new ground regarding the partterns of the supervision by Internet. It also puts new interpretations on the traditional communication theories such as "the spiral of silence"and "media agenda setting".
