A Study Of Workflow Management System Based On Rule-Agent

Workflow Management System(WfMS)accelerated the development of enterprise's production and management, at the same time the development of enterprise's production and management asked for the development and perfection of WfMS.The traditional WfMSs have the following disadvantage: the narrow scope of application, the badness of flexibility and the difficulties of contingency to be processed and heavy construction etc. Especially produces in the enterprise, the existing production configuration of WfMS can not solve the reasonable dispatch and the optimized movement of each kind of service activity which involves the enterprise effectively, so as to cause the application of system to have great limit.Based on the background, the paper gives a comprehensive research of the limitation of workflow and the current situation of research in WfMS. Through the research, we find that the shortcomings of current WfMS is come from that the workflows in the drive type does not suit the request of development of the dynamic workflows, Therefore we give a kind of WfMS design model based on inference Agent. This model utilizes the thought of the expert system, to produce and run the entire workflow through knowledge library in regular inference. The WfMS can consummate the rule through studying, and the utilization of rule inference causes workflows produced by WfMS in the flexibility and the intelligence to have the very great degree enhancement. And it has the certain superiority in workflow exception handling and dynamic modification area.Finally, this article introduced a project example to show its actual application and the effects in workflow exception handling and dynamic modification area. It turns out that all work is of both practical and academic value in Intelligence WfMS.
