The Design And Development Of The Clinical Management Of HIS

With the rapid development of the computer industry and IT industry, the construction of Hospital Information System has made great progress under years' development. The Hospital Information System is the requirement of the development of society and epoch, it has been the key point of the success of hospital under the intense competition.This paper is on the basis of the project of a hospital information system, and clinical management is an important part of hospital information system. The design objective is to develop a well-performed hospital information platform with diversified advanced technology. Hospital can apply the system to cope with diversified complicated businesses, realize the paperless office, and improve the work efficiency and the hospital impression in patients' hearts.Firstly this paper expounds the definition and development of hospital information system. It employs computers and communication facilities to realize the computer management for the process including the patient register, clinic, taking medicine in-hospital register, doctor diagnosis, and nurse tending. It provides the capabilities of collection, storage, selection of the information of diagnosis and treatment as well as administrative management of patients, the data exchange for each department of a hospital and meets the functional needs of all authorized customers.Secondly this paper describes the analysis of the customers' demand of the hospital information system, and confirms the designing ideas and principles of hospital information system. Then this paper designs the clinical module according to the function and practice requirement, as well as the system safety and database.Finally this paper analyzes two blocks of the clinical module—nurse workstation and operation and narcosis management system. According to the former designing ideas and principles, considering the customer' demands and the practical requirements, this paper completes the two blocks, and explains the process of design and develop in detail, hi the end, the experiences and gains are summarized.
