The rapid development of computer technology provides some new teaching means for class teaching. The CAI of all subjects develops in various ways, among which, the specially active is that of physics. Color spectrum is a very important teaching content in optics, even physics. Compared with the other teaching contents in physics, the demonstration of reconstructing color spectrum in computer to be lagging behind and less highly regarded. And the reason lies much in that color and composition, and we can not attain our goal in the ordinary way. Seen from the points of theory and technology, the article analyses the possibility of realizing the computer's reconstructing of color spectrum and some problems which need to be solved. Based on this, the author suggests using digital camera to produce standard white light spectrum, using atomic-characterized spectral line to calibrate and carve up the white light spectrum, collecting the computer color code of spectral line which corresponds to each homochromous wavelength and establishing the related database, and using Flash MX to realize the reconstructing of color spectrum on computer and put it to practice. Through all these, the author has successfully realized the reconstructing of white light grating spectrum and prismatic optical dispersion spectrum on computer.
