The Design And Implementation Of Management Information System Of University Science Research

Based on the analysis of present management information system for science research in universities, according to the requirements for relational standards on education information management by Ministry of Education along with the specific characteristics of a certain university, in this paper, we design and develop a scientific research management information system for the university. According as the fact of the university's science research management and the client's requirements,corresponding function model and data flow are set in the system, designs for each function model and database are accomplished ,meanwhile we also analyze and design the integrality ,consistency and security of the data. C/S and B/S hybrid structures are used to develop the university's science research management system. We built a soft platform of B/S system structure on the base of .NET, using Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0's new security mechanism and related techniques we ensured the security of system. XML and SQL Server 2000 distributed data processing technique are adopted to realize the transformation between heterogeneous structure data, in addition we also illustrate each step according to methodology of software engineering and open search system. This system has been put into use, which is embodied of practicability, reliability and criterion, and it can be used as reference for design and development of other education information management system.
