Research On Grating Signal Processing System Based On Universal Serial Bus

In this paper, measurement principle and development state of grating measuring displacement system are briefly introduced. The character and advantage of the Universal Serial Bus(USB) are analyzed. A system of grating signal processing based on USB is designed, which is characterized with modular and multiple use by means of combining software and hardware. The single-chip microcomputer is the central part of the grating signal processing system and the unit of information processing and control, which carry out the data acquisition and processing,keyboard control,data display and USB communication. The system is composed with grating data display and USB communication. The design of subdivision and count, keyboard processing, LCD and power down protection are introduced in detail. The real-time data display and miscellaneous function including the conversion of Length/Angle,Single end/ Difference input and the resolution selection are realized. The circuit of USB interface is designed. The program of PDIUSBD12 controlled by single-chip microcomputer is developed.
