In modern industrial production, barcode has been widely used in all industries. The label system applies to the automation transport-packing line among factories. The automation transport-packing line is mainly applied to connect the consequent processing units of some pipelines, enabling various products can be transferred to each processing unit automatically, and to boost the transport line processing efficiency, and to realize the batch-mixed processing for various products. Meantime, it can realize the real-time control of the position for the products on the transport line.Firstly, this thesis has a deep analysis and study for the function of transport-packing line on the label system. Based on the present data collection and processing technology, the author gives a solution for the label automation management system based on OPC (OLE for processing control) which is an open software standard in the industrial controlling fields. And the important function and development history of the OPC on the solving the whole factory information system has been described.Secondly, by analyzing the OPC technology and data access standard, this thesis analyzed the key techniques for the data interchange between the OPC client and the Programmable logic Controller (PLC), tested and realized the data interchange between the OPC client and shop equipment control devices. Through the accessing test, the author analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the different data demands of different data access methods. Combining the understanding of the label data, the technology for the label design and relevant Chinese characters and image processing, the label design and printing based on the Zebra II language has been implemented. This thesis also focused on the OPC remote access with DCOM (Distribution Component Object Model) technology. The author summarized the errors of various DCOM data access, summing up the configuration methods for the smooth DCOM accessing.Finally, this thesis implemented a software system including the label management module, PLC data communication module, the database management module and the order automation and automation labelling module. In this part, how to secure the data interchange between PLC and OPC client has been emphasized based on which, the data format of data interchange has been designed and realized. Simultaneously, an OPC accessing class has been designed and realized, and a network communication testing function has been inserted to realize the OPC communication demand in this system. Applications in real production process show that the system improves the production efficiency.
