To eliminate the complexity and some unnecessary technology restraint within the process of development, we employed a simplified programming model and a light-weight framework based on the J2EE platform, which is widely used in industry but still takes the manual methods inefficient for model transformation, so it is necessary to establish the workable system modeling and transformation rules to improve the automation of the system modeling on all stages and generate the code model framework automatically, which will help to ues the resources reasonablly and achieve the integration of the heterogeneous systems. The transformation from Platform Irrelevant Model (PIM) to Platform Specific Model (PSM) is the key technology of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) which, as a system model driven development framework, abstracts the PIM model irrelevant to the specific technology to realize the transformation from the PIM model to PSM model through mapping in the first place.The model transformation of this paper is based on two different frameworks, in order to achieve the integration of the heterogeneous systems. One is the lightweight model transformation architecture based on J2EE platform which is taken as the target model, including the domain model, the behavioral model and the display model, another is the EJB model based on the EJB container. Firstly, UML use case diagram is employed to describe the interaction model of each system function and construct the PIM model of system; secondly, according to XMI as the standard transformation file, some certain mappings between models with specific platform information are added; thirdly, according to the structural requirements and operational characteristics of EJB architecture and framework for lightweight, we add an intergration layer of the element model between the PIM and PSM, then using MTF model framework as the model transformation driver, the lightweight model based on J2EE platform, and the EJB model based on the EJB container ,the PSM model, is automatically transformed from object model, interaction model and interface model on PIM level, and refine the PSM model under the EJB framework; finally, we also define the transformation rule between PIM model to PSM model through formal language.The efficiency and effectiveness is tested through an example for adding new employees to a logistics management system. Using the use case for describing the system concept of composition, sequence of interactions and the dynamic characteristics on the application level, and in accordance with the method presented in this paper to establish the corresponding representation model, and shifts them into domain model, behavioral model and present model based on the light-weight framework and the PSM model based on EJB container,making the resources under the different framework can be used reasonablly.The feasibility and high efficiency of the model transformation method of this paper have been proved through the comparison of XSLT method ,to achieve the research goals of integration of the heterogeneous systems.
