A new application—Mashup has been appearing in the Web 2.0 era. Because Mashup becomes more popular, the major service providers open their own application program interface (API) to meet the needs of programmers and Mashup enthusiasts. In recent years, with the Google Maps API'open, the applications of Mashup based on Google Map become more and more. But these application systems, which are designed for specific users, usually are poor portability. In the paper, the existing internet users are divided into two categories of Spread Networks based on their characteristics and needs. For the two categories users, basing on Google Map, we propose two kinds of map display mode, Star-shaped radiating pattern and Zoom control pattern. Users can view the range, degree and trends of the Spread Networks in the map by the two models. Here the flows of the two models are designed. For promoting network, such as chain stores, Supermarket chains and chain restaurants, two different icons are designed to mark the location information of the headquarter and branches, and the Star-shaped radiating pattern is provided, which is formed by relation between the headquarter and branches. And for the restraining network, taking H1N1 for example, a display mode of zoom levels control is designed, which includes an area display of different color and information point mode under different zoom levels. Finally, based on Google Maps API and Mashup, the two display modes are tested with the specific examples. In the thesis, a system of the comprehensive map display mode is provided, which is open, portable and scalable. It is designed not for a particular user, but based on the characteristic of the two categories users of Spread Networks. So, whatever the type of users only log in the same system to choose a display mode for their requirements. There is no need to create your own Mashup application of map display based on Google Map.
