With the advent of the digital age and the development of communication and computer network technology, digital products become more and more, such as images and video and audio work and so on. And they bring great convenience to our daily lives. However, information tampering, work infringement and illegal piracy problems are also increasing serious, so it becomes an urgent problem about intellectual property protection of digital products to be solved. Digital watermarking technology is an effective technical means to solve these problems. Digital watermarking technology as an important branch of information hiding, it has a significant value in image and multimedia copyright protection. A variety of digital copyright information embedded into digital products, called the watermark information, is used to verify the ownership of the product, and it is treated as the evidence of the identification, prosecution of illegal infringement. The technology has become a popular international academic research direction.First, the problems are analyzed in this paper, such as the digital watermarking research background, current status, significance, the basic framework, characteristics, classification, performance evaluation of typical algorithms and so on. It is the theoretical basis section digital watermarking algorithm.Second, through the analysis of chaos theory, an image encryption algorithm based on dual chaotic system is proposed which using logistic mapping and lorenz system. Firstly, the original image pixel are scrambled using logistic mapping to change their location. Then, the lorenz system is used to encrypt the image again after the first encryption by logistic mapping in order to modify the pixel value. At last, the image is encrypted twice.Finally, A algorithm of fuzzy adaptive chaotic digital watermarking based on wavelet domain is proposed. The watermark image is encrypted by using above digital image encryption algorithm. And the encrypted watermark is embedded into the host image which is discrete wavelet transformed according to the design of wavelet domain by HVS and the embedding strength of watermark decided by rules of fuzzy controller. The proposed algorithm has good invisible secure and robust characteristic.
