After two years of operation, the Blanking processing intelligent control logistics and warehousing management system has achieved good results and widely used in other 24 factories. After years of practice tests, the system runs stably, and it improves the level of automation companies. However, our group has been tracking the investigation of the system and make it more perfect by complete analysis of the problems and found that the most urgent to resolve deficiencies in the design of a logical layer. Due to the change of the coil types or business types of increasing, business rules change frequently, while the original system's code and business rules with a high degree of coupling, it is difficult to timely respond to this dynamic adjustment of business rules, this has resulted in the update of the system can not keep up the requirements of enterprises. This paper presents the development of rule-based engine in a very good way to solve the problem.Rule engine is a kind of component embedded in the application, the basic idea is the separation of logic. In this paper, the basic theory of the rule engine and algorithm are discussed. In chapter 3, a storage process-oriented rules engine is designed and realized, detailing its working mechanism, the design process, execution and concludes that the engine can be extended to other similar flow processing application project.Chapter IV is designed and implemented a rules-based engine management system of the storage process, the design uses the Spring and Drools open source components to reduce the advantages of the original system, and complete the storage module logic layer for secondary development. This gives great flexibility to solve the problem that the original system can not meet the dynamic business rules changes. Finally, the paper compares the two methods, Summed up the advantages of the rules engine.
