Study of the technology of three-dimensional information has become an international hot spot. Three-dimensional information will be the main context on TVs, computers and pictures, instead of two-dimensional information. People will have a wonderful three-dimensional visual experience. Three-dimensional information has an enviable prospect. The technology of three-dimensional information relates to many areas, such as acquisition, encoding, transmission and display. There is a great practical value in study about three-dimensional information.The increases in the bandwidth of network and in the rate of transmission provide an excellent platform for the web application of three-dimensional information. However, in the Internet, due to the non-ideal channel, error will inevitably occur in information transmission. Errors can result in the distortion in the reappearance of three-dimensional information. And the special nature that the three-dimensional information is produced through synthesizing multi-view information determines the particularity that eight-way information should be transmitted simultaneously. The main research in this paper is the reliable transmission of three-dimensional information.According to the particularity of three-dimensional information, base on the VC++, this paper developed the visual C/S structure based on windows platform, and realized the basic function of server and client. At the same time,due to the possibility of error in network transmission, the combination of error-correcting and interleaving is used to ensure the reliability of information transmission after theoretical analysis and experiment. In the design of software, each viewpoint of information will be separately transmitted from server to client through different ports, after being encoded and interleaved. After reaching client, the data must be deinterleaved and decoded by the client. The C/S structure implemented in this paper servers the next study about three-dimensional information in client. After a period of testing, the software runs well and has a good performance. All desired effects have been accomplished.
