Safety valve is a very basic and common device used to maintain the pressure of petroleum pipeline in petrochemical enterprises and it has an important indemnification effect on security in the process of production. Practically, the number of present safety valve is enormous in the petrochemical works, and it is inevitable that problems appear in management of safety valve, a safety valve management information system need being developed for request of DaQing oilfield corporation based on principle such as reliable,standard,safe, functional etc.Function of this system is to realize centralized standardization management of all safety valve information in subordinate oil extraction works, oil extraction pits, oil extraction teams.First of all, it has been determined that documents management standardization and network according to users'requirement. Then according to results of an investigation of present safety valve management mode, detailed demand analysis is carried out about DaQing oilfield corporation, afterwards, work process of this system is advanced and data flow is analyzed based on existing technology, and above mentioned job provide foundation for next database design and every function module programming .Secondly, The analysis of C/S and B/S structure on the basis of technical characteristics, and it has been a fact that the system uses B/S structure, then entire system structure and all function modules has been determined, meanwhile I select the SQL Server 2005 database management system as a background. In addition,the server database system E-R model ,logic model and physical model has been designed.Finally, programming of all function submodules such as standing book,work flow and so on has been achieved for realizing calibration alarm , business on network , report form statistical inquiry function on the Visual Studio.NET 2008 platform by ASP.NET.The developed system has been put into use since half a year ago and has been running quite well. The system, stable and reliable, simple operation, user-friendly, is a success in the distributed management information system by which staffs received a significant increase on work efficiency and work done was reduced greatly. human negligence and calibration leak has been avoided in effect .As the first domestic safety valve management information system ,it can be widely promoted in the petrochemical industry. It also has some reference value for domestic research and application of interrelated technology .
