In the wireless video communications, with the development of modulation technology and new communication protoco,l wireless video transmission becomes possible. Video surveillance integration of these technologies have been widely used. This paper presents a sea of wireless video transmission system design and some preliminary experiments which practicaling applicationDigital video compression technology for video transmission in the network is the key technology. This paper has studed and compared the MPEG-4 and H.264 coding standard which is widely used in the field of video transmission in particular. MPEG-4 standard has a lower complexity than H.264 standard, and is almost the same effect as H.264 standard in the case of high bit rate transmission, so the video encoding module system choosed MPEG-4 standard.Wireless broadband network development depends on new modulation techniques and communication protocols. This article describes the OFDM modulation technology and wireless LAN standard, and analyzed the technical principles and characteristics of the wireless broadband system design and application of automatic tracking antenna. This paper describes an offshore wireless broadband video transmission systems, and network structure, logical structure and software architecture, design the network video encoder for video compression scheme, the wireless network transmission scheme, the antenna automatic tracking of packages, the wireless transmission of images conducted a preliminary test quality and made further improvements.
