With the rapid increasing requirement of people, which leads to extraordinarily high energy consumption, resources and environmental problems are becoming more and more serious. Air-source heat pump water heater has a high energy efficiency and can save the energy consumption significantly, so it meets with the sustainable development strategy of our country. As the core of the heat pump water heater, the heat pump controll system plays an important role in heat pump water heater.The main topic of this thesis is to develop a commercial heat pump water heater control system based on ARM-core microprocessor. The heat pump water heater can be controlled by this control system reliably and efficiently with the fuction of real-time data process, fault diagnosis, remote control, etc.Firstly, the overall scheme of this control system is proposed, which is composed of collection control device based on MC9S08DZ60 MCU and graphic operation unit based on S3C2410 MCU. Secondly, the hardware and software design of the collection control device is introduced,which includes modules of AD converter, digital signal input and output, analog signal acquisition, communication etc. Thirdly, the hardware and software of the graphic operation unit based on S3C2410 MCU is discussed which consists of the storage module, the LCD and touch screen module, the ethernet module etc. The software of LCD and touch screen driver and the heatpump controller GUI is developed on linux operating system. Fourthly, the testing approach and principle of electrical fast transient/burst immunity test, surge immunity test and electrostatic discharge immunity test are discussed and the tips for EMC design also given.Lastly, experimental results show that the heat pump control system met the needs of national standard and had passed EMC test of electrical fast transient/burst immunity, surge immunity and electrostatic discharge immunity. Above all, the heatpump controll system can be widely applied in all kinds of heat pump heaters and air-conditioning systems.
