With the development of electronic technology and control theory, not only the performance of MPU( microprocessor unit) is getting higher and higher,but also a variety of intelligent algorithms are evolving. It makes the automation instrument based on these two aspects develop to be highly intelligent and adaptive. The tightness of intelligent Instrumentation and industrial development also directly pushes the development of intelligent automation instrument forward and makes the combination of theory and practical application to be more urgent.This subject takes the control of resistance furnace temperature as the research object, uses intelligent instruments as the control tool, designs the integrated module which is combined with platinum resistance temperature sensor and solid-state relay for the implementation components, and selects 485 communication interface circuit for distributed management. All these help to complete the temperature control system. By the performance requirements of the system, the paper designs the hardware and software. At last it makes interference analysis.In terms of hardware design, under the premise of ensure the system performance, choose C8051F340 produced by the Silicon Labs for the main CMOS chip,use ordinary components as the main components to reach ideal result that not only saving costs but also reducing hardware maintenance difficulty. In terms of software design, select the single neuron PID control algorithm as the core, combining with the characteristics of the microprocessor, make technical treatment of the algorithm, thereby reducing the workload of system operation. And adopt the ideology of mmodular design, make monitor program as main line build the software design of entire system.There is always a certain gap of the intelligent algorithms in theory and practice. And there are some differences between practice and theory. The intelligent temperature controller designed in this theme adopts single neuron PID control algorithm to provide a viable way for enhancing the development of such algorithms. The entire meter circuit of hardware design and software design provide a reference for the development of similar products.
