As an important sub-system of smart home, Intelligent lighting control system is the application and promotion in the lighting control field in automatical technology, it is not only an effective mean to achieve the artistic and comfort lighting, but also meet the development direction of green lighting, is an effective measures to save energy so ease the future energy crisis, it's development prospects good.Fieldbus connects field devices and automation systems for communication network, is full digital signal transmission, distribute control fuctions, open and so on. As a field bus, CAN bus is high reliability, low cost, easy to expansion and so on. Based on the dispersion of lighting equipment and the diversity of control method, paper use the advantage of fieldbus in the field device layer, introduces the CAN bus based design of distributed intelligent lighting control system, analyses the application of CAN bus communication agreement in the system, and presents a parameter network floating storage and automatic search method based on the multi-master control ability of CAN bus.Paper presents to extend the network with a real-time image processing node, through acquisition, edge detection, edge image region labeling and feature recognition, system extracts the useful information in the digital image, to be the criterion of the smart lighting control, can facilitate the intelligent lighting control of a specific scene, and also can facilitate the mobile alarm.Paper also introduces a two-stage design of distribute computer, PC host receives the running status, network parameters and other data that uploaded by field controller, after analysis and decode, display them on the screen, otherwise, user can modify the network parameter through operate the man-machine interface, thus adjust the working status of the terminal node on the network.The results have been realized in a large club lighting system, it showes the effectiveness of the CAN bus-based on intelligent lighting control system. It has a low cost, high reliability, convenient to use, easy to extend, energy conservation etc. advantages, meet the needs of the domestic market, has broad application prospects.
