Research And Design Of Activity Model And Workflow Platform For Police Supervision

Implementation of police supervision and examination integration(SEI) mechanism of public security organs facilitates social order management greatly. IT supporting system of The SEI mechanism employs workflow technology to cope with uncertainties of procedures in SEI mechanism, a workflow system thus needed for providing workflow executing and managing services, and specific activity models should be constructed for analysing and modeling the procedures.On the one hand, this dissertation obtains requirements of data extracting and procedure interacting from SEI procedures, based on the requirements models of ETL Activity, Data Extracting Activity, Automatic Activity and Task Activity are designed, thus analysing and modeling of the SEI procedures are well supported. On the other hand, this dissertation builds a workflow platform for providing workflow executing and managing services for IT supporting system of SEI mechanism, and emphasis on modules of access control, data extracting management and task management. Task and Role Based Access Control is implemented in access control module thus providing higher security. Implementing data extracting management and task management in workflow platform for supporting designed activity models is desirability of implementation of SEI mechanism. In addition, this article presents a solution of visible workflow designer which provides a convenient way for designing workflow making the designers get out of technology details.This dissertation effectively supports analysing and modeling of procedures, and meet workflow executing and managing requirements of IT supporting system of SEI mechanism by designing activity models and workflow platform, thus facilitating implementation of SEI mechanism. As existed procedures changing and new procedures emerging, new models will be obtained and workflow platform will be ever-evolving thus adapting to new systems.
