| Firstly, by analyzing Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse, Data Mart, ETL and some other related concepts, this paper expounds the application of business intelligence in modern enterprise. Based on the comparison of the several current main business intelligence solutions in the market, by taking BusinessObjects (BO) as an implementation method and taking a certain large scale manufacturing industry as an example, this paper shows people how to deploy a business intelligence project by using BO and some other accessories. Such as, how to use Data Integrator to extract and transfer data, how to use Universe Designer to do the model building in logical layer, how to use Desktop Intelligence to develop the front reports and how to use CMS to maintain account IDs and manage their rights. |
