Solar energy is widely used as an ideal energy source with the advantages such as safety, cleanness and inexhaustibility under the situation of rapid consumption of fossil energy. This paper aims at developing a solar energy electricity generation control system, which enables the solar battery go along with the sun. The system also saves electricity generation by solar battery in the day time and consumes it in the night for streetlight.The paper researches the design of automatic tracking system to make solar battery track the direction of sun all the time, it also uses the method of step harassing observation to design MPPT power equal machine of solar battery. For outputting steady voltage to satisfy the requirement of load, the paper designs DC/DC transformer to control the deferent voltage. The system adopts storage battery as assistant battery and designs a charge-discharge switch equipment for a set of storage batteries automatically.The whole system is composed of slave-system and host-system. Slave-system is a set of software-hardware control system using 8bit single chip STC12C2052AD as the core to control DC/DC, MPPT and storage battery charge-discharge. Host-system adopts LM3S8962 to control slave-computers by RS-485 communicate protocol, which could control to communicate by group. The paper also converts embedded Ethernet and RS-485 protocol to make PC could communicate with the system by Ethernet, which could be used to configure system parameter etc.Certified, this system can track the movement of sun in any condition, and it could also work automatically to control the streetlight and switch storage batteries. Besides, the system actually improved the convert efficiency of solar battery to 20%. This system can not only be used in the construct of city roads, but also in difficult areas with power-supply lighting such as desert, mountainous region, frontier sentry, island and lighthouse.
