Switching power supply has many virtues such as high efficiency, high power factor, small size and stable performance. It has become the mainstream form of power supply at present, and also becomes foundational technology of all kinds of electrical equipment, so the requirepment of switching power supply is abundant. But the conventional switching power supply is hardly applide to a DC motors load with the same power. The reason is when conventional switching power supply is apply to the DC motors load (especially DC motor load with hard mechanical properties), the dynamic current of motor is often many times higher than its rated. Those will make the switching power supply shutdown because of overcurrent protection or reduce its rated to use which will cause great waste. Focus on these issues, the paper introduces a new-type AC/DC switching power supply, which is suitable for motor load and also has a wide load range. The new-type switching power supply can not only be applied to DC motor class with the same power, but also has good performance on dynamic constant current and static constant voltage.In order to reduce the inner dynamic power consumption and energy consumption, this new-type switching power supply takes the soft-switching technology of ZCS-PWM transformer. Meanwhile, it also can store up the Motor braking energy and realize energy recovery. The using of redundant power supply further enhances the reliability. This article also uses embedded technology to expand the function and application scope of switching power supply, which has technical and economic significance.This paper describes the design of the new-type switching power supply, analyzes its structure and principle. According to building and analyzing the mathematical model under the condition of switching power supply with DC motor load, a new-type synthetic control method is proposed. The new-type synthetic control method of the approach combined with static voltage control to be an inner feedback loop (adopting DI as its regulation algorithm) and dynamic maximal current-limiting control to be an outer feedback loop (adopting NDPI as its regulation algorithm). Comparing and analyzing the result of these adjustment methods by MATLAB simulation, shows the feasibility of the program. This paper also completes the software and hardware design of the new-type switching power supply. The hardware components includs the main circuit of the switching power supply, auxiliary circuits, braking energy recovery circuit, voltage and current detection circuits, the controller peripheral circuits, etc. The software part consists of signal sampling, control algorithm implementation, PWM pulses generate and so on. Meanwhile introduces a foundation of function expanding, such asμC/OS-?? transplant to the MC9S12NE64 chip, the function of MC9S12NE64 initialization. The results from experimental analyse indicated that the system has realized the anticipated results, and will have good application prospects.
