The Design Of Control System About The Silicon-steel Coil Packaging Machine

In our country the packaging of Silicon-steel coil mainly used manual-packaging, the automatic extent was very low. As the developping of China's economic, the quantity of Silicon-steel coil increased year after year, also the improving of the efficiency about packaging machine had been an urgent requirment. For the whole Silicon-steel coil package machine, the most important part is the tying-machine,also it is the key to develop the efficiency of the whole packaging machine. From this packaging machine, we completely realized the automatic of the tying machines, needing no man to look at it,and the max speed of this packaging machine was 20 coils/h, this increased the efficiency of packaging machine largely.In this paper we mainly designed the electrical control system of the packaging machine, using SIEMENS S7-400PLC as the controller, and using the PROFIBUS field-bus as the control net to connect the controller and the operation-desk in the work field. Also using the WINCC as the HMI software to monitor and control the whole system's work state. From this machine we realized the whole packaging process semi-automatically, but the automatic level of the whole machine was increased very greatly.To control the tying-machine's motion precisely,we both used the PID controller and the fuzzy controller.When the difference between the goal value and the actual value was bigger than the set value,we used the fuzzy controller; while when the difference between the goal value and the actual value was smaller than the set value,we used the PID controller.Compared to the old plan that using the electromagnetic brake to control the tying machine, this plan had better control result,also decreased the cost of instrument.This machine had been used in the actual production,and could satisfy the customer's requirment,and the customer gave it a high comment.
