All weapon systems need to undergo enormous tests from the preliminary stage of argumentation of system scheme to final stage of approval test during its design process and all these tests are to record parameters for the working status of all parts of the system during its developing and flying test for the purpose of analysis and modify design. Missile data recorder are designed for this purpose.This thesis completes the research and design of a missile-borne data recorder according to specific technical guidelines of a certain kind of guided weapon. On the basis of the system macro-design principle, the overall design plan and the key technology that is needed to resolve are discussed first. Secondly, the design principles for the hardware of each module composed in the system are disserted thoroughly, and outputs the corresponding circuit design from the aspects of signal input ports, power supply module, main control module, trigger control module, flash storage module and data communication module.This thesis completes the research and design of a missile-borne data recorder according to specific technical guidelines of a certain kind of guided weapon. Particularly, the last two key points play important roles in the whole design, and the satisfaction of system timing is dependent on it.In the end, this thesis shows the embedment technology the systems use and gives a brief introduction of the ESS experiment prior handing over the system.The live shell test in the shooting range demonstrates that data recorder fully satisfy technical indices and the system works stably, reliably. It completely records all the necessary parameters of the missile during its entire course of flying.
