In this paper, a carbon nanotube-based fluorescent chemosensor has been designed and synthesized with carbon nanotube and Rhodamine B。First, carbon nanotubes were purified, and then purified carbon tube connected with the azobisisobutyronitrile, followed by reaction with sodium hydroxide and acid hydrolysis.we obtained carbon nanotubes with a large number of carboxyl on its surface. Then adding an excess of thionyl chloride,we obtained the modification carbon nanotubes. At the same time, through the reaction between Rhodamine B and three (2 aminoethyl) amine we obtained fluorescent ligand. After reaction with the Fluorescent ligand we obtained the final product. After that, with the F-4500 fluorescence analyzer we test its slectivity of metal ions, we find the fluoscent sensor have high slectivity and sensitive to mercury ions.with the TGA we found the volume of rhodamine B derivatives which connect to the carbon nanotubes is about 21.7%. And the fluorescent sensors for mercury ion detection concentration to achieve 1×10-5molL-1.Then we synthesized Schiff base derivatives of Rhodamine B fluorescent probe. After the fluorescence test we found the fluoscent sensor have high slectivity and sensitive to chromium ion. A nd the fluorescent sensors for mercury ion detection concentration to achieve 1×10-6molL-1.
