Cause of the laser light source for projection display full use of the laser wavelength selectable feature and high spectral brightness. Makes the display images with greater color gamut, The color gamut coverage of the human eye can recognize up to 90% of the color space, Also can cover color gamut more than 150% of the NTSC standard. And the spectrum of laser is line spectrum, have high color saturation, Radical breakthroughs the lack of color space of the first 3 generation, to achieve the perfect color reproduction in human history, so that people can see the most real, most brilliant of the world through the display terminal.Such a bright future for laser display, so light performance detection and assessment for laser projection display system is particularly important.Based on the characteristics of the laser, the article propose a new method for measuring the performance of light-color with two sets of measuring system. The new measuring system consists three parts:1, Photoelectric conversion device; 2, Calculation of optical power distribution; 3, Calculation of light color performance parameters and display its results.The role of the photoelectric conversion device is to convert the light signals into optical current signal. Its conversion accuracy determines the measurement system accuracy.When measuring system get the optical current signal, it will judge it, if appropriate the system will calculate the optical power distribution of PR,PG and PBThe standards of calculation of light color performance parameters mainly according to ANSI. And the display device of multipoint is PC, the display device of signal-point is LCD.
