The Design And Implementation Of Trend AU Automation Test

With the rapid development of software industry, software quality problem has been more and more recognized. Correspondingly, software testing technology and application also become popular. Beginning with the manual software verification approaches in early days and the initial emergence of automatic testing method, and the increasingly wide and in-depth employment of the test automation techniques, frameworks and professional tools nowadays, software testing has evolved from early stage to mature.This paper briefly describes current condition of domestic and international software testing skills, the usage of software-testing technology, and also introduces the Trend Micro Automatic Update Framework. First, the paper introduces that the software testing is now mainly used in testing technologies. In order to describe how to test the Trend's system, this paper elaborates the structure of the corresponding testing framework and process of each module's design, showing the specific implementations of core modules. On this basis, the paper also describes the Pattern Integration Test module which is based on the implementation of automatic testing framework. Finally, the paper summarizes the achievements and lacks of the design and development of automation test framework and prospects for future development of automation testing.The effect and design of the system mentioned above were tested successfully through the experiment and real application. It reached expected goal in the exploitation of Trend Active Update system. It also saved lots of human and time resources, kept the quality of the software and reached the requirement of the function and purpose of the system.
