With the rapid development of the information and communication technology and the network, the demand for services is showing a trend of personalized.Streaming media service is an important business as a modern information and communication application. It plays an increasingly important role in life such as corporate communications, distance education, broadband video on demand and live Internet. How to provide specific services according to the different user habits and different environments in which users themselves, has gradually become the focus of the study. In this project, the implementation of streaming media service control system is such a typical research instance.This paper, based on the modern application requirements of streaming media services, applies context-aware technology to streaming media services control system. The author proposes a method of streaming media services control based on context-aware. The first part in this paper summarizes the related research background and actuality to this project. In the second part, from a practical point of view, the author study the key technologies of streaming media services, including streaming video and audio standard codecs, streaming media, communication protocols, IP multicast technology and streaming media servers, etc. The third part discusses the system structure, RTSP parsing process, file reading and transmission. The fourth part details the context-aware technology application in streaming media services control system. The fifth part tests Implementation part of the system. The last part concludes and outlooks this paper.The results show that in the paper, the proposed streaming media services control system based on context-aware can user-oriented provides users with better service continuity and high-quality streaming media services to meet the user's demand.
