With the development of mobile network and mobile devices, mobile applications also expand to every comer in people's social life. The video-share service is generated in this backgroud and become a important application in 3G or 4G network. Due to the multimedia transmission in video sharing process, the deployment of this service is based on IP multimedia sub-system(IMS) which guarantees the real-time transmission with QoS requirement as well as a powerful management of services to realize the service control function. It is very convenient for service development of deployment. The proposed video-sharing client is designed and developed based on IMS network using SIP protocol to establish end-to-end session with QoS requirement and control the service flow. In the signalling design, the extended field in SIP message is defined with new value to help to build the state machine in the development of signalling flow and the extended type of SIP message is also used as the control signalling in the video-sharing procedure. In the real-time streaming transmission, RTP protocol is adopted to provide the real-time end-to-end transmission service, timing and streaming synchronization. This part is developed based on Gstreamer streaming application frame and the open source library with some useful developing tools. In my research, the signalling conformance and service function is tested by building OpenlMS simulation platform. The test result is compared with the standard protocol of standardization organization to verify the designing rationality and reliability which provides the comprehensive basis for system transplantation and further study.
