The Design And Implementation Of Iridium Digital Handset Change To Analog Telephony Interface

Along With the development of information technology, the application of maritime satellite communications is growing very fast in our everyday life, but in maritime satellite communications, the most widely used system is the Iridium satellite digital communication system, so the research about the Iridium satellite digital communication has a very important practical significance and a broad market prospect.In practice, given the high cost of Iridium digital handset as well as the commonly used of analog telephone handset in our family, people begin to consider the possibility of changing the digital signals which is transmited through Iridium communication into the most common analog signal, sowe can achieve signal transmission by analog phone. In this paper, with the background of Iridium satellite digital communications, considering about the domestic and international design of the Iridium handset conversion system, I complete the design and implementation of Iridium satellite digital change to analog phone interface.In this paper, firstly, I introduce about the development of Iridium digital communication technology at home and abroad. Then the paper analyzes the overall structure about the hardware of the Iridium handset change to analog phone interface, and introduces the control module and the telephone service interface module. Based on the design of hardware architecture, based on the detail of the Iridium handset number of analog telephone interface adapter this paper particularly explanes the implementation of software in the system, mainly about the software debugging of SCM(Single Chip Microcomputerr), EEPROM, ring signal and the signal of dual audio decode. Finally, based on the hardware system and software debugging, I complete four basic tests of control module, ring signal, dual audio decoding and voice communication performance. The testing results show that the design is correct and feasible, and meet the request of Iridium satellite digital handset change to analog phone interface. This paper is completed on the basic of a project that "ridium digital telephone change into an analog phone" which is made in a company.
