This paper is based on a research of the development of acoustic deep sea glidersystem included in the National863project "development of deep sea glider and seatrial". The glider system consists of three subsystems: acoustic detection system, anunderwater glider system and shore station system. They constitute the organic wholeby integrated design to accomplish the task on the observation and acoustic detectionin the deep sea. This article carries on a thorough research on the structure design ofsatellite communication system, control scheme based on iridium satellitecommunications, integrated design of ISU module and antenna, analysis of iridiumcommunication signal strength, the building of remote control station content ofin-depth research, and complete the reasonable and scientific design.In hardware design aspects: Make further comparative analysis ofISU(communication module), which is the Iridium satellite communications corecomponents; Select the STM32-107as the main control chip, according to the ISUpower and the operating frequency and other parameters; Design of a remote controlpanel to complete the remote control and data transmission task, with the help of theunderwater glider control board; In the communication system designof station control platform, the data line introduced by ISU is extended using RS485transfer, extending the distance between platform and communication,which convenient the construction of the platform.In software design aspects: Design of the remote control command system, andwith reference to America UAV roadmap to assess the independent level methoddesign different priority levels of the system; In order to ensurethe stable, smooth, flexible remote control, design of this topic of underwaterglider iridium communication system communication protocol; In order to control conveniently control station control platform, design the "Ocean University ofChina acoustic glider control interface".After many trials in lake and sea test and analysis of massive data, the designscheme is validated and affirmation. The controlling stability, flexibility and accuracyof the underwater glider and the coordination of the attitude control system withthe information collection system, the performance of periodic long-term detectioncan be improved significantly. At the same time, the design scheme bring greatconvenience for the shore station controlling.
