The destruction of external forces is one of the most important cause of reliable operation of transmission line, it also constitute a threat to people near to transmission line during construction processing, and also may cause serious accident such as dies in groups the group wound. It is extremely urgent to suspend warning device to reduce or avoid the destruction of external forces.However, effectiveness of existing warning device is poor, because of it is only identification, not initiative. Unfavorable factors are difficulty in installation, high danger coefficient, necessary of power off, high cost etc, when people install warning device.Under this circumstance, foreign condition of correlative research and application are analyzed in this paper, and presents a new type of intelligent warning device to install on the transmission line, and So as to reduction influence of wind in the actual conditions designs unique mechanical construction to protect against the wind.The intelligent warning device Initiative detect and estimate the varies of its surroundings based on the site actual condition of transmission line, produce a loud often wailing sound and glimmer lighting as a warning when unidentified objects close to the transmission line.The warning device turns on light and glimmer automatically when light intensity is below threshold, but it turns off light when light intensity is above threshold.This paper introduces robot technology to improve unfavorable factors of people installation warning device. A simplicity robot is invented to install warning device above-mentioned, instead of people. The robot wireless transmit video to ground station in real-time, and it can be controlled to install and remove the warning device at the pre-selected spot by people, and the installation can be accomplished with power.In order to testify correctness and affectivity of the proposed method, a prototype of installation robot had been manufactured, and experimental have been done on experiment and practical lines, respectively. The experimental results on practical lines have shown that the robot can install and remove the warning device at the pre-selected spot very well, and installed the intelligent warning device work state is quite up to request such as sound and glimmer lighting warning.This study filled up national nothingness with great potential and promising prospect in the future.
