In the past two decades, accompanied by rapid growth in the throughput of docks, the terminal equipment is constantly upgraded. So, there are many types of energy-consuming equipments that are mixed used in Docks at present. In order to reduce the energy consumption of these equipments, we must understand the specific energy consumption which includes the average energy consumption per unit of time, the energy consumption of a single container, etc. However, traditional methods of electricity measurement cannot provide a detailed record of Consumption. The traditional methods of electricity measurement cannot meet the needs of reducing the energy consumption of large equipment. A new method is needed to replace it.This paper research in a new energy management system for Docks which combines computer technology,communication technology,network technique and data mining. The system network which network by serial server, fiber, switches, Intranet automatically transmitted information of every piece of electronic meter to the computer center for storage and analysis. Through Analyzing base on the software system and data mining system, the system provides real-time, complete and accurate parameters of the power, the results of statistical analysis and the result of data mining to the manager. These results are beneficial to energy management and production management.The electrical energy management system of docks makes use of modem communication and data mining which realizes the real-time collection of the data and the discovering of knowledge from the data. Management department can obtain various information from the system including data mining results, unit of energy consumption, working efficiency, line fault and loss, etc. therefore, The information provided by the system can be used directly to improve the efficiency and level of energy management and production management in docks.Based on the full investigation of the docks in China, and studied and analyzed on the large-scale energy consumption equipments in respect of energy saving problems, this paper combining with computer technology, communication technology, network technology and data mining technique, etc, constructs a docks electrical energy management system. This system can automatically acquire the electricity information of consumption equipment and through the analysis and processing of backend software, various kinds of important data chart is available, which can greatly improve the efficiency of energy management and production management.
