This paper builds up bridge HMS (health monitoring system) with PXI bus Virtual Instrument for the west Shanghai-Chengdu expressway bridge. This system mainly includes two aspects of work:Data acquisition hardware platform and data processing software platform. This system cans real-time on-line monitoring bridge state. the data and processing results can be used for bridge condition assessment.Firstly, Tieluoping bridge was chosen and arranged sensors according to the needs of bridge monitoring project. Then designed based collection station with PXI bus virtual instrument, set one collection stations near two towers of the bridge, and the distributed data acquisition system can Real-time collection and transmission 129 different sensor signal. Bridge vibration signal can reflect inherent frequency of the bridge, and all channels require collection synchronization. This paper design synchronal collection module based on GPS time signal.In this paper the design of software can be divided into acquisition station software design processes and monitoring center procedures, Acquisition station contained data acquisition module and data transmission module. It mainly designs synchronization data collection module with DAQmx, and data transmission module with Datasocket. The monitoring center mainly contained data real-time display module, data processing module and data storage module. Design The Interface for data display and warning with LabVIEW language, preparation before the real time monitoring of data collection, realize the interface and collection of real-time monitoring station state and early warning; Data processing module mainly design filter and wavelet filter, and analysis data in time domain and frequency domain in order to reflects the development tendency of the bridge; This paper design data storage module with Oracle database, mainly contains storage and query data.Finally it had analysis how to use auto-power spectrum and cross-power spectrum recognition bridge Modal Parameters. It designs bridge vibration data processing system with LabVIEW language. Through the analysis of simple beam data and bridge data, the system analysis results are correct and reliable.
