The wireless sensor network nodes are small in size, easy to be layout, and can be conducive to greater geographic scope or it is not easy to reach under the special environmental monitoring and so on. People can get harsh environmental conditions a large number of accurate data. However, there are still many limitations of sensor nodes, such as power consumption, low capacity to store and process data, wireless communications vulnerable to interference and other issues. Since the sensor range of end-node monitoring the actual complex and changing environment, the practical application of signal interference have a greater impact on network performance, so end-node communication performance has been the focus of one of the issues. The content of this study is the terminal node for wireless sensor and communication performance of the basic functions of the test problems.The paper is based on the Intelligent Wireless remote transmission system of the gas meter in the actual environment. The whole system contains five parts. They are the application software on the PC, the platform of network protocols, the base stations, the router nodes and the terminal nodes. Terminal node is responsible for collecting gas meter gas usage information users, information transfer these data to the router nodes, and then to the upper platform base stations and other data processing operations.Being as the terminal nodes, the gas meter must make sure that not only the absolute stability in the entire time when the program is running, but also the correctness of the data Acquisition and transmission. They need a large number of data. In the system that we are locating, business and residential complex in the actual environment the terminal on the gas meter has a great influence communication performance, end-node data collected to the router will generate an error or data loss and other issues, which makes How to determine the installation location of the router function node becomes complicated.In this paper, end-node wireless sensor network test system can test the performance of communication nodes, the nodes according to test results can be obtained the actual installation of the router function of the node where it fits. Development of sensor network devices, and the production process, there is embedded during the integration testing procedures, difficult to track the test; network data is difficult to distinguish form and content of view; the production of rapid detection of the hardware, welding and machining quality and other issues, these issues will lead to A function of the terminal node error or failure phenomenon. In this paper, end-node wireless sensor network test system can test the basic performance of the node, according to test results, determine whether the various functions of the node to work..In this paper, intelligent gas meter on the wireless remote meter reading system, a detailed study of transmission, and the gas meter terminal node in the practical application of the function and mastery of communication performance requirements, the design of wireless sensor network terminal node test system..PC, part of the test system is divided into software and software parts of the terminal nodes of two components, namely the terminal node for the MSP430 microcontroller C language programming and PC-application process. PC-communication between the nodes test system using a custom communication protocol.
