Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) gain much attention recently in both research and application fields. One critical issue in WSNs is the data storage, which affects the network performance and the security of the network. In this thesis, we studied the data storage issue in WSNs, and proposed an adaptive distributed data-centric storage scheme, which resolves the bottle neck of central node in centralized storage scheme, saves storage space, improves the success ratio of data reconstruct, and secures the data.Based on the Shamir's Secret Sharing (SSS) distributed storage scheme, this thesis proposed a distributed storage scheme based on recursive Shamir's secret sharing (RSS) and an improved distributed storage scheme based on Reed Solomon code (RSC).
