With the development of social and the advancement of technology, the means of agricultural research has undergone tremendous change, large-scale, multi-region, cross-sector agricultural research activities have become increasingly widespread. However, due to the relatively backwardness of agricultural scientific research environment, a unified platform for agricultural scientific research is not ready. In response to these needs, how to make use of achievements in the agricultural informatization, accelerate the construction of agricultural scientific research informatization, provide an information sharing, resource sharing, unified network collaboration platform for the majority of agricultural researchers, has a great practical significance. Cloud computing is an emerging computing model, by integrating a variety of computing resources can not only improve resource utilization, but also can reduce the cost of inputs, which undoubtedly the implementation of agricultural scientific research information technology brings new opportunities. Based on this context, this paper will do a deep research on the cloud of agricultural scientific research.The cloud of agricultural scientific research was based on cloud computing and other latest information technology, integrated server, storage, network and other hardware resources to achieve automatic, standardized resource management and provided a rich application services through agricultural scientific research application service platform. As a result of cloud computing, this platform can not only greatly improve the utilization of IT resources and the level of information sharing, but also reduce the investment in agricultural scientific research.This paper firstly studied cloud computing and related technologies, including the definition of cloud computing, the characteristics of cloud computing and the service model of cloud computing, etc., then detailed analyze Google, IBM, Microsoft and other IT vendors'cloud computing model. In the third paragraph, we do a detailed research about the agricultural scientific research informatization, including the background, definition main and objectives of agricultural scientific research information. Finally, we thoroughly introduced the architecture and main content of agricultural scientific research informatization.On this basis, the paper designed the prototype system of agricultural scientific research cloud and proposed the basic objectives of resources management'virtualization, standardization and automation; designed the infrastructure architecture of agricultural scientific research cloud, with virtual and distributed technology, agricultural scientific research cloud can ensure a smooth migration of legacy applications and further reduce construction costs; proposed agricultural scientific research cloud operation and management platform which contains operating platform, supporting management platform and resource management platform three parts. With it, cloud can take an effective management of infrastructure resources and support application deployment platform; proposed agricultural scientific research cloud application deployment platform that enables application deployment automation; finally designed the agricultural scientific research cloud application service platform and briefly describes basic content of the application service platform.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the agricultural scientific research cloud, the multi-tenant, distributed data storage and other key technologies are studied. To achieve the basic goal of agricultural scientific research cloud, this paper also studied the typical application in the cloud. Finally, the paper build a cloud computing research environment with the open source Hadoop distributed architecture.
