With the improvement of people living level and the increasing rapidity of modern city construction, sodium gluconate has been widely applied in medicine, food, construction and chemical industries and so on. However, nowadays the production of glucose sodium couldn't satisfy the needs of the society, in order to improve the quality and efficiency of it, to design an efficient and stable automation control system became necessary.According to the technological requirements and characteristics of sodium gluconate, combined with the site actual situation and the controlled object properties, proceeded system selection and design, adopted distributed architecture to construct its production lines, and this system has the characteristics of distributed control, and centralized management, which could greatly improve the reliability of the production line. The data collection and control unit of the system used Siemens S7-300 PLC, and PC using Siemens Company's WinCC, and the configuration software communicated with the control units through the PROFIBUS. PC combined with various testing instruments and control equipments collect to realize the monitor and collection of all parameters information in the process of glucose sodium produced, and to realize implementation of the data analysis and processing and so on.Temperature, PH value are the important parameters in the glucose sodium's fermentation process, which directly affected the stand of generating products. Based on the traditional PID control mode, this paper took temperature as an example, and brought in the basis of fuzzy control, so as to achieve good control of temperature by the fuzzy PID control, and meet the technological requirements. Through the contrast of the fuzzy PID and traditional PID in adaptive and anti-interference ability, the results showed that the control quality and stability of the fuzzy PID control was superior to the traditional PID control.
