Design And Realization Of GIS Module Function In Inner Mongolia Public Travel Services System

With the development of transportation sector, the geographic information system in highway management has been widely applied. The attribute data in highway management system has been constantly enriched, but the data is only used in internal management, so it leads to the waste of resources. Thus, it requires that new features should be designed, according to the existing highway transportation geographic information system so as to share the resources. In recent years, as the sustained and rapid development of the national economic and the improvement of people's living standards in China, the travel demand also had been significant changed.The proportion of self-driving trip by road is also substantially increased. It's very convenient for people to pick up the information on the traditional ways such as trains and air plane, but this is not true of self-driving trip. Therefore the establishment of public travel service management system is imperative, in which the design and implementation of module GIS is the main point.This thesis based on the project--"Inner Mongolia Transport Public Transportation Service Management System"is not only expounds the research situation of public transport travel information both here and abroad, but also analyzes the demands of the broad masses for the travel information. In the meantime, it proposes the overall design plan of the system. In term of system realization, Web GIS will be introduced into Public Transportation Service Management System, and the associative functions of GIS will be achieved. Thus, the masses can inquiry the geographic information easily on the electronic map. If the origin station and terminus are determined, it can analyze and show the optimal path. Finally, the article introduces the realizing interface of system. Inner Mongolia Transport Public Transportation Service System has been put into use. The website is http://gzcxw.nmjt.gov.cn. The Public Transportation System has been improved because of the design and realization of the functions of GIS, achieving resource sharing. It provides the convenient query methods for the public. The functions of GIS may also be inadequate, it will be improved during the process of following use.
