Time-interval measurement is the measurement basis of many physical variables such as period, frequency and phase. Fast and high precise time-interval measurement in nuclear physics experiment plays an important role. There are many methods to realize precise time-interval measurement. In this paper, we introduce our research word by using time interpolation, based on the resources PLL of FPGA for the need to Front-end electronics of MWPC.In first chapter of paper, We introduce application and precision time-interval key measurement method in nuclear physics experiment. Chapter two introduces the FPGA technology, principle, structure and the mainstream FPGA chip and manufacturer. Chapter five is the important part of this paper. In this chapter, we introduce the design scheme of time interpolation circuits by using DDL of FPGA, The research procedure and method are also introduced. At last, the timing simulation results of the time interpolation circuits are shown and make sure of the realization of time interpolation. In chapter four, we analyses the experimental measurement results and the problems existing, the suggestion and next plan on work are prospected.
