With the development of digital information technology, the Internet came to the era of web2.0. In web2.0 period, people pay more attention to the user's interaction. Website is built as a platform for users involved in the expression, creativity, communication and sharing. UGC (User Generate Content) is the core of web2.0; the user plays multiple roles on the platform, as consumers, producers and disseminators. The change of identity makes users became increasingly important in the Internet.Video Sharing Website as one of the typical applications of web2.0 started in China from 2005. After the rapid development at the early time, it involved in various problems. For example, a shortage of funds, serious homogenization problem, vulgar content flooding, copyright infringement, less of appropriate profit model, and so on. Video sharing site is seeking a breakthrough. And it is a significant way to pay attention to the user, and make the large number of users into a advantage of the Video Sharing Website.The research object is the original user groups of Video Sharing Website; they are the core resources of the video sharing site users, but also the most dynamic part of the site. Through questionnaires, interviews and other research methods, this paper pay attention to the original user groups on demographic characteristics, behavioral characteristics and motivation to generate video clips, paying particular attention to creative behavior and motivation in the research.On the basis of empirical research, this article summarizes the basic characteristics of the original user and analyzes the plight of the original video and reasons for that. Through the grasp of the characteristics of original user and the analysis of plight, give some business strategy and the feasibility proposals for Video Sharing Website.
