Research And Design Of QoE Measurement Method Based On Mobile Device

With the development of network services and intelligent mobile devices, users enjoy a variety of services conveniently, and gradually pay attention to users'experience. So the quality of users'experience has become the key to the success of services. And QoE has become one of the focuses. QoE measurement is one of the important parts of QoE management. As the requirements of QoE increasing, passively waiting for complaints from users and then improve QoE can not meet the development of network. To measure QoE timely to adjust and optimize the network as early as possible is required. Therefore, to establish a real-time QoE measurement technology is urgent to provide data for the network optimization and enhance users'satisfaction.Mobile device, an interface between the users and the services, is the peripheral of wireless network closest to the users, and directly reflects QoE. So a QoE measurement based on mobile device is required, to add the measurement based on network. So this paper proposes a QoE measurement bases on mobile device, to measure and assess QoE timely and provide data for the network optimization, in order to improve users'experiment. The paper firstly analyzes the status of the QoE and QoE management, and the weakness and the further development of them. And then proposes the QoE measurement mechanism with the QoE measurement framework, measurement processes and the definition of QoE indicators. Furthermore, as a lot of measurement data by a large number of mobile devices, is unrealistic for both QoE management system and communications networks, a monitored set selection model is built for the QoE measurement, combined with k-means, Newman and other theories and used the method of probability selection. Finally, with the method of software engineering, simulation system is established, and the measurement of QoE indicators of MMS is taken to demonstrate that the QoE measurement method proposed by this paper is feasible.
